Kitchen Pantry Design & Install

We begin every project by discussing your wants and needs during our complimentary in-home consultation. From that discussion, we create a custom proposal with 2D and 3D architectural renderings so you can see your kitchen pantry come to life. This is your opportunity to visualize your new pantry and make any adjustments to the design. After your approval, our in-house professional cabinet installation team will make sure that your pantry is installed to your satisfaction.

Like any home improvement project, there are many things to consider when planning for a new pantry. Do you need counter space for a coffee or an espresso machine? Will it be used to store dry foods, pots, and pans, prepping supplies, or everyday household items? Do you need vertical tray storage? Are you interested in rollout shelves? We’ll listen closely, and then discuss options within your renovation budget.

The Perfect Kitchen Pantry Placement

Pantry location is also an important factor to consider. Smaller kitchen pantries are typically within the kitchen, and larger butler’s pantries are just off the kitchen. We'll look at other spaces if you don’t have room in your kitchen. An unused coat closet can transform into a small walk-in pantry. Or consider the area beneath your stairs, in an adjoining hallway, or in your basement. If a wall includes a recess or soffit, you could build a pantry in that space. Or you could move a wall for more storage area. Since a reach-in can be as shallow as 16 inches, you can sneak a pantry into more spaces than you might think.

Kitchen Pantry Accessories

Shelves, cabinets, and drawers can give your pantry a more stylish, organized look. Woodhaven has a variety of styles, colors, and materials to choose from. We offer a wide range of colors with matching polyester doors, and four drawer front styles: Shaker, Slab, Transitional, and Traditional. We also supply hardware; such as knobs, pulls, hinges, metal baskets, and more. In addition, when you work with Woodhaven, all your closet materials are manufactured right here in New Jersey.

Door or no door? That depends on the usable space, design preference, and budget. Some pantries work well with an open entrance, especially if you want easy access and an open flow. You might want it to feel like a separate space, in which case our door installation services can include your choice of folding, pocket, or swinging doors. We’ll listen to your needs and work with you to find the best solution for your pantry’s layout.
