Woodhaven is capable of cutting lengths of up to 18 feet and with our state-of-the-art floor truss machine, and our truss facility can produce trusses for any commercial or residential project. In addition to accuracy, quality and a highly computerized design process, each completed truss meets rigorous design standards established by the truss industry and building codes.
Each truss begins with a computerized three-dimensional digital layout which is then engineered to determine the stresses in each member of the truss, the required grade of lumber and connector plate sizes.
The cut components are then laid out on assembly tables where a gantry press is run along the rails, pressing the plates into the wood and tightening all the joints. Once finished, Woodhaven conveniently delivers the trusses directly to the building site on roll-off trailers, eliminating the need for unloading equipment at the site.
Woodhaven Lumber is a TPI inspected component manufacturer and a WTCA member.
